PENTHOUSE IN CANET DE MAR

Discover the radical transformation of this penthouse in Canet de Mar. We faced the challenging task of completely reconfiguring the layout of the home, focusing on the issue of an open kitchen to the dining and living room, which felt narrow and uncomfortable.

With a bold approach, we carried out a full renovation that involved a 180º change in the layout. The old kitchen was turned into a spacious living room, while the original living room space was transformed into the new kitchen-dining area. This strategic decision resolved the previous sense of narrowness and elongation in the space.

For the design, we opted for a light color base with neutral tones to create a sense of spaciousness and brightness throughout the penthouse. This choice helped create a cozy and contemporary atmosphere, perfect for enjoying modern life on the coast.

In addition to the interior transformation, we aimed to make the most of the penthouse’s exterior space. We equipped the terrace with a solarium area to enjoy the Mediterranean sun, a dining area with a barbecue for outdoor gatherings, and a chillout zone to relax and enjoy the panoramic views.

In summary, this interior design project has successfully transformed an underused penthouse into a modern and functional home, where every space has been optimized to offer comfort, style, and versatility.
